Country Club of Vermont

Country Club of Vermont:
The Country Club of Vermont is a Private Course located 25 minutes from the Round Barn Farm in Waterbury, Vermont. (Near the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory!). Designed by Graham Cooke, this course layout is breathtaking as well as challenging for golfers of all abilities. Green Mountain National Golf Course:
Steve Durkee and Gene Bates designed this beauty off of the scenic Route 100 highway near Killington, Vermont. Open to the public, this course is acclaimed as one of the best public courses in New England. Home of the futures golf tournament for aspiring women pros, this course is challenging and picturesque. Drive time from the Inn is about 50 minutes. This is a favorite stop for many of our guests heading north on their first day's stay or heading home south for their final day. The website for the golf course is www.gmngc.com.

Sugarbush Golf Course:
A Robert Trent Jones Sr. 18 hole course located right here in our beautiful Mad River Valley. Built in 1962, this is one of only two Robert Trent Jones Sr. courses in New England. Plenty of doglegs, elevated tees, and mountain views make this course challenging and memorable. Located in Warren, Vermont, drive time to Sugarbush Golf Course from the Inn is about 15 minutes. The website for Sugarbush is www.Sugarbush.com.

Vermont National Country Club:
This private club is the first Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course in New England. Tee times can only be arranged by our inn staff. The front nine with gently rolling meadows gives the course a Scottish feel contrasted with the more rugged back nine, which features rock outcroppings and stands of maple sugar trees. There is a unique variety of scenery to enjoy. Each hole has 5 tee settings offering an appropriate level of play for all abilities. Located in South Burlington, Vermont, the drive time to the Vermont National Country Club from the Inn is about 45 minutes. Burlington is also home to great shopping and open-air restaurants on the Church Street Marketplace and boating activities on Lake Champlain. Website for the golf course is www.vnccgolf.com.
